  • 400 g chickpeas drained
  • 120 ml lemon juice
  • 120 ml olive oil virgin
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 60 ml water or use water from chickpeas

Optional Ingredients

  • 75 ml tahini traditional
  • to taste ground paprika for garnish

Instructions

  • Place chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, sea salt, and water in a blender.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Garnish with ground paprika.
  • Serve with pita bread.
  • Optional: Add tahini to the blender and process. Adjust salt to suit taste.
  • Note: Adding tahini makes the hummus nicer and healthier.
