  • 4 slices bread preferably day-old
  • 30 g butter melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Cut bread into cubes.
  • Toss bread cubes with melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread evenly on the prepared tray.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until crisp.
  • Cool slightly before serving on top of soup.
