Main Ingredients
- 500 g good quality beef mince
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 coarse garlic, crushed
- 60 ml oil
- 2 tbsp Mexican chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 400 g chopped tomatoes from a can
- 400 g beans (red kidney etc.) from a can
- 2 tbsp tomato paste

- Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Saute onions and garlic until light golden.
- Brown mince, turning constantly.
- Add tomatoes and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add chilli powder and cumin, stir well.
- Add beans and heat through.
- Add tomato paste at the end of cooking.
Notes
Serve with corn cakes or nachos. Garnish with cheese, avocado, and salsa. Cooking temperature should be medium heat.
