Base Ingredients

  • 40 ml fresh coriander chopped
  • 40 ml fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 20 ml olive oil

Spices

  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp salt

  • In a food processor, combine the coriander, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  • Add the ground cumin, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  • Pulse until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Use immediately as a marinade for fish or vegetables, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

Chermoula can be adjusted to taste by adding more lemon juice or spices.
