Materials

Dukkah Mix

  • 20 ml sea salt
  • 250 g wattle seed substitute for traditional seeds
  • 250 g hazelnuts substitute for traditional nuts
  • 5 ml lemon myrtle use in place of coriander
  • 5 ml native mint use in place of cumin
  • 5 ml native pepper optional for added flavour

Serving

  • as needed warm bread
  • as needed macadamia oil substitute for olive oil

Instructions

Preparation

  • Mix wattle seed, hazelnuts, sea salt, lemon myrtle, native mint, and native pepper together in a bowl.
  • Store the Dukkah mix in a sealed container in the fridge.

Serving

  • To serve, dip warm bread into macadamia oil and then into the Dukkah mix.
