Materials
Topping
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1/2 tsp rose essence
- OR grated rind of 1/2 orange and 2 tbsp orange water
Base
- 2 cups glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tin 400ml coconut milk
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Rinse rice. Mix all ingredients (base ingredients). Bring to boil, then simmer until all water is absorbed.
- Place rice in serving dish. Pour over topping. Enjoy WARM or COLD & TROPICAL FRUIT.
