Materials
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp sugar caster preferred
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 2 lemons OR 2 oranges juice of 2 & rind of 1
- 1 1/4 cups milk
Instructions
- Cream butter & sugar. Add egg yolks, flour, grated rind & juice. Mix well after each addition. Add milk slowly, whisking egg whites till stiff. Fold into mixture carefully. Bake in a buttered dish standing in pan of water @ 180°C for 30-40 min. Test top should spring back when lightly pressed. Enjoy warm with cream or ice cream.
