Bev’s Lazy Bread

A way to use up sour milk or yoghurt quickly!

Materials

  • 3 1/2 – 4 cups self-raising wholemeal flour
  • 1 tablespoon runny honey
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ OR bran
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large bottle beer
  • 1/2 cup chopped chives OPT.

Instructions

  • MIX all ingredients well.
  • Place in well-buttered loaf tin. Make a dent in the middle – dot with butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake in mod. oven approx. 1 HOUR.
  • Test with skewer.

Great warm with BUTTER!
