Materials
Wet
- 125 g butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup peanut or any nut paste
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- TURN OFF HEAT. Simmer for 4 MINUTES.
Dry
- 1 cup puffed millet
- 1 cup puffed brown rice
- 1.5 cups roasted muesli
- 1/2 cup chopped apricots dried
- 1/4 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup sultanas
Instructions
Wet
- Heat, stir until liquid.
- TURN OFF HEAT. Simmer for 4 MINUTES.
Dry
- Mix the dry together well
- Combine warm liquid ingredients with dry ingredients, and mix well
Preparing
- Line a lamington tin with baking paper.
- Pour ingredients into lined tin & press down.
- CHILL for 1 or 2 HRS.
- CUT INTO SHAPES.
- Wrap in greaseproof paper & store in fridge.
Notes
Both Muesli Bars will keep in airtight containers in fridge for up to 6 MONTHS! – if not eaten before.
Great snacks & good for school or travelling.
